Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) For Hair Loss REALLY Works!

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) For Hair Loss REALLY Works!

I will be talking about low level laser therapy in treating hair loss in men and women. The potential application of low level laser therapy to stimulate hair growth traces back to Endre Mester, a Hungarian physician who discovered that mice treated with lasers during experiments designed to study the carcinogenic effects of laser exposure regrew the shaved hair in half the time of non-radiated mice. Low level laser therapy has been used for the past few decades, mainly in hospital settings to treat the elderly suffering from diabetes and poor blood circulation. It helps bring blood circulation to various areas, so we know laser does work from a circulation stand point. The original thought about LLLT was that it brings more circulation to the hair follicles. After years and years of studying the effects of low level laser therapy on hair growth treatments, researchers have found that it does more than that and the frequency of light that penetrates the scalp and creates a better cellular structure of the hair follicles.

Welcome to my Youtube channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.

I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!

Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:

1. Finasteride 1mg/day (generic brand for Propecia/Proscar) – Finasteride is approved by the FDA for male pattern baldness and is effective in slowing hair loss for men. – STOPPED AS OF 4/10/2017

2. Biotin 10,000mcg/day – Biotin is effective in thickening hair, nails, and beautifying the skin. I’ve noticed thicker and stronger hair after using Biotin for the past few months.

3. Vitamin D 3,000IU/day – Vitamin D helps maintain a healthy body

4. Minoxidil (Rogaine) – Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I’ve noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.

5. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg

Hi, I am planning to get my hair transplant by next few months (no exact date yet). I have been researching and following your video updates, I would like to ask your opinion regarding Istanbul Turkey Hair transplant clinics that offer less price, you think will be worth it? And also, are there any preparations I need to do before the actual transplant procedures. Thanks in advance.

I have been using the igrow for almost 2 years. The first year every other day and the second year about twice a week sometimes once. After 6 months I thought it was not working, but I stuck with it and after a year I looked back at some pictures and was amazed at some improvements. I will continue to use this along with minoxidil. I do the 25min sessions.
I would like to say that I think you can alter your genetic male pattern baldness by using products like lllt and rogaine while you body produces the most DHT. Those are the times that your body needs the most treatment. I think if you stop taking this stuff and you will lose all that you have gained is bull because that would only happen if you body is still in the high conversion of DHT. Peoples Hairloss can level out at some point in life. Thats what I was told by a Good Doctor one time anyway.

Are you going to use lasers right now? Until there is no "hair fall" I wouldn't start using it. Same goes for minoxidil..

I bought the cappilus cap but didn't stop my hair loss. Does it not work for everyone? I'm not slick bald either, I have hair but in the loosing phase. Should I look into another cap or not waste my money?

I just had 2500 unit fut on Friday. my doc also did prp as he says it is a trade secret to get things growing faster. he also includes a laser cap that I'll get in a week that he says after using for a year can help keep what I have and permanently reduce future losses. now it's a waiting game.

So which ones are FDA approved and have the best results? Which ones were used in the research studies? Were they the home ones or the large commercial ones?

Did you get FUE? And that comment below, "Why the perm bro?" — I wouldn't have even dignified that with a response. Thanks for sharing "bro" 🙂
