LASER HAIR GROWTH – iRestore vs. Capillus vs. iGrow vs. HairMax – USER REVIEW

LASER HAIR GROWTH – iRestore vs. Capillus vs. iGrow vs. HairMax – USER REVIEW

Full disclosure: I’ve had three hair transplants and used concealer in my hair for this video (link to the one I use below).

The best proven (side effect free) non-surgical hair growth product for men & women experiencing hair loss is medical grade low level laser therapy. I’ve tried all the common hair loss treatments …minoxidil, DHT blockers, diets, supplements etc. Though results from low level laser therapy vary based on your level of hair loss and what is causing your hair loss everyone’s hair can still benefit from low level laser therapy because it makes the hair that you do have stronger. It’s like sending your hair follicles to the gym every other day for 25min.

I highly recommend anyone experiencing hair loss buy some kind of professional laser helmet device. Having owned a used three of the most popular laser helmet brands (iGrow, Capillus, & iRestore hats/helmets …I also used the HairMax laser comb) this video is my personal thoughts.

Low level laser therapy is scientifically proven to help strengthen your remaining hair so that you keep it longer, and in many cases even re-grow some the hair you’ve lost. I’ve used one for years, and the best part is that there are no negative side effects like there are with virtually every other type of hair treatment product. Thanks to the partnership I’ve made prior to publishing this iRestore hair growth system review you get a $150 off coupon if you use the link and code below.

The biggest problem I see with iRestore is that it only has 21 lasers and 30 LEDs. That is a terribly small amount of lasers, and LEDs haven't even been proven to help with hair loss like 650nm lasers have. For a full coverage LLLT home device you need upwards of 270 lasers to get the right coverage.

Its very important to realize that laser helmets are FDA cleared for SAFETY ONLY. The only products cleared for EFFICACY (how well they work) by the FDA are finasteride and minoxidil.

What's your schedule like for using the helmet? I'm trying to get a consistent pattern going. Like Monday, Wednesday, Saturday?

I want to believe that this works, but it just seems like such a gimmick. And I remember years ago people were unanimous that laser combs were a scam. But now laser helmets aren't? I just don't know. It's too expensive to take a chance on. Even studies are often manipulated. The only reason minox and fin can be trusted is because they've been the standard for so long.

Does this thing WORK tho ? Reviews are all over the place on the irestore. Many dudes say its done nothing at all. Remaining hopeful im considering splurging on one but it just seems too much like a latest fad in hair loss treatment

Hi David, are you able to show briefly in a video the difference in your appearance (maybe with close up video) when you use a concealer? It's not clear to me how much an effect it has on your appearance. Sorry if you've done this in a previous video and I missed it.

    P.S.: Cool video!

Hey, I used to take the pills because I felt they were affecting me in a negative way. I'm a male and felt that I suffered from lack of Libido or a little bit of breast swelling (cause those are the side effects of Saw Palmetto) So if you can let me know what you think of this or what you experience with the pill i'd greatly appreciate it!!

But I never knew about iRestore or that Capulus Cap, so going to look a little more into them and buy one of them. So thanks for the discount code and making this video because I was close to buying that iGrow helmet.

Non of these products has enough coverage and number of medical grade lasers are not enough either. They are also very uncomfortable to use. The iRestore helmet is one of the most overpriced items I have seen. I will not recommend to buy the iRestore helmet. I have ordered a couple of helmets from ebay. To my surprise (I'm a student at DTU in Denmark) when I measured the wavelength of the photons emitted it was actually in the right spectrum.

PRO TIP: You should use your laser hat RIGHT after taking a shower. Your head should be completely clean for best penetration of lasers. I also suggest massaging your head to get the blood flowing best right before using the laser after getting out of the shower.
