How To Do A 3 Color Ombre Melt Hair Tutorial Hairstyle

This color combo makes for a gorgeous end result (see our video, “Style a 3 color ombre” for the finished look). RaDona used 10 volume with 4R for the red color, bleach with 40 volume for the blonde, and 4N with 10 volume for the darkest color.

RaDona likes to start on the right side and apply color to that whole side. She then colors the whole left side and then finishes up with the back.

seemed a bit sloppy =/ and I can't see anyone starting off with 40 vol?? should u use a lower vol for the beginning? ? you're going to over process!

I would have liked to have seen the end result also would like to know how that was rinsed without the 4R bleeding in to that blonde? Cause at 40v that cuticle is wide open and would suck up that red pigment. Post the end result.

I assume the end result was a disaster, The poor girls hair probably burned and melted off on the ends because the stylist mixed 40 VOLUME DEVELOPER with the bleach YIKES! I don't believe ANY professional hair color manufacturer suggests to EVER do that. I've been in the industry for 27 years and I've use MANY different color lines and that's a BIG no no.

I have been back-combing each section to break up the blonde, after darkening the roots, resulting in a double-process…I think I'm going to try it your way on my next ombre client and save some time! Thanks AGAIN for your amazing tutorials, RaDona!!

What color line do you use? You should put a picture of the finished product.
