    if you want to get a clean cut for a cake you can dip your knife in a cup of boiled water and wipe the water and cut your cake

    To evenly powder the baking-tin, dont sprinkle with fingers. Dip yr palm in flour & hit the edge of the tin so flour falls like dust inside the tin.

    Alternatively, use a tea-sill or sieve. Be very light-handed. Then turn the tin & slightly bang to get rid of excess flour.

    You don't have to wrap the whole banana in cling wrap, instead you can wrap the top end of banana to stop it from ripening. Lot of supermarkets use wax on the top end of banana to keep them fresh
