I use Avacado, Ripe Banana, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Honey. I put everything in the blender so it's nice and smooth and I won't have any little bits and pieces. It rinsed out much easier this way.

I just found this out on cosmopolitan's snapchat so I had to share this with you all!!! The seed in the avocado is actually where all the vitamins, lots of oil and nutrients reside! They said take the seed and cut it up into pieces, then grind it up into a powder with a food processor. The powder than can then be added to things like smoothies, deep conditioning treatments, etc!

I'm trying this for the first time and will leave in overnight. Like someone else mentioned, my avocado was a lil overripe. Will cowash in the morning and see how it goes.

I use the spoilt (or semi spoilt) avocados. I mix it with coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, mayonnaise, and sometimes, conditioner, then whip the concoction together till it is creamy. Apply it to my hair for about 3 hours at least. It actually helped my hair A LOT the first time (in Jan or Feb 2015). I have the mixture in now for another treatment. About to wash it out after leaving it overnight.

It's better to blend avocado and possibly strain it, to prevent any fibers from staying in ur hair

Yes, I do. I love it. My hair don't really like store products , natural day products works best. I use avocado, egg and Olive oil. I have used honey. It makes my hair more manageable, and it is soft. I love it. Once a month, I conditioned my hair with it. Coated with a Shea butter mixture by naptural85.

I wanted to ask, what about people with oily skin? I stopped conditioning because I believe my pores went into overdrive. I stopped conditioning for three years. I used mane n tail conditioner and maybe Pantene pro v. I've never tried home remedies. I will try and let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the video

I did my first avocado mask last night and I love it! It defined my curls like crazy and it detangled by itself bc of the definition. I like to saturate my hair though, so I added water to my mask and I put it in the blender. I used the exact same ingredients olive oil and an avocado. I had avocado pieces too but naturals85 suggested a strainer.

Hi, I'm trying so hard to start caring for my hair. I recently shaved my hair down and I want to start fresh, how often or when do you do washes, co- washes, deep conditions, and treatments? Like I know what to do, I just want to understand how often.
